Page Labeling

Correct page numbers
effortlessly with dots Cockpit 4 JTX

When you assemble a print product from several individual documents, it stands to reason that the original page numbers will need correcting. And often, the new arrangement will create a fresh set of sections that require individual chapter headings.

Sounds like extra work? dots Cockpit 4 JTX makes things quick and easy – with the dots page labeling function. You can use this function to insert labels into all or part of your document, either with text of your choice or using variables: page number, date, time and job title.

You can choose any typeface, font colour and point size you wish, of course, place the label anywhere on the page and rotate it if necessary. The amount of text you enter defines the size of the field overlaying the page content. So you can simply overwrite old page numbers by new ones – and leave the rest of the content intact.

That’s dots

Just select specific pages or page ranges and assign each sheet the label that you want to print.
