New in version 5.6: Account field

The new versions of Printgroove JT Web and Printgroove JT Suite provide an account field for charging internal orders correctly. You can make it visible if needed and configure it accordingly.

Why using an account field?

The cost allocation within an organisation is usually based on accounts. They are essential for the deduction of internal print jobs and therefore should be provided by the user during ordering to avoid an subsequent allocation which is much more time-consuming.

The request of adding an account field was stated by many of our customers. That's why we included it in the new version 5.6 of Printgroove JT Web and Printgroove JT Suite.

Configuration of the account field

You can configure it as follows:

  • You can activate an account field per user group. Once activated the user must quote an account during ordering in order to complete the order.
  • You can choose your own caption for the field. If you have another internal name for account, you can use it in the online shop as well in order to guard against misunderstandings.
  • You can choose between a text box and a pull-down menu. When choosing the text box the account field is offered as an input field. Your users can enter their own text which you can limit by defining a maximum length. When choosing the pull-down menu the account field is offered in a drop-down list with selectable values which you define beforehand.
  • If you decide to use a text box, you can validate the text input. Example: If your accounts always consists of six numbers, you can check if the text input consists of six number when the order is placed.

Do you want to use the new account field? Then update your installation of Printgroove JT Web or Printgroove JT Suite to the current version 5.6.
